Two new security checkpoint lanes are now open in Raleigh-Durham International Airport’s (RDU) Terminal 2. Passenger traffic has been steadily increasing in recent months, and with the Terminal 2 checkpoint now boasting 12 lanes, airport officials say they feel more prepared for the travel season.
“The addition of the new checkpoint lanes will help RDU keep pace with tremendous growth and keep wait times down during the busy summer travel months,” says Michael Landguth, president and CEO of the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority.
