RDU Partners with IDeaS to Bring Dynamic Pricing to its Parking Program

Looking to create a better parking experience for travelers, Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) announces a partnership with IDeaS Revenue Solutions to bring demand-based, dynamic pricing to the airport.

The new program will feature IDeaS Car Park Revenue Management System (RMS) cloud-based forecasting and pricing solution that incorporates advanced analytics, artificial intelligence and deep machine-learning to maximize revenue for RDU’s 18,830 parking spaces, while also letting travelers know in advance where spaces are available and what they’ll be paying for them.

The new program is a complement to the ParkRDU parking reservation system launched in mid-2018. “IDeaS has the technology and expertise necessary to help us make informed decisions, shaping more effective marketing strategies, sales programs and overall airport parking revenue management,” says Michael Landguth, president/CEO of Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority.

RDU had passenger volumes 12.8 million in 2018, up from 11.6 million the previous year.
