Raleigh-Durham International (RDU) is rolling out two new parking initiatives next week, including the ability to book spaces in advance online.
The airport is also unveiling a new mid-priced trunk-to-terminal parking option, ParkRDU Express, with a lot adjacent to the general aviation terminal and shuttle buses that pick up passengers right at their vehicles.
The ParkRDU online site allows travelers to book parking and guarantee entry to their preferred lot, as late as 24 hours prior to arrival. Booking online in advance also guarantees the lowest daily rate available in each lot, airport officials note.
“We are excited to offer an online booking resource for all visitors parking at the airport that guarantees the lowest rate available for their lot of choice,” Michael Landguth, president/CEO of the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority, says in a statement. “By booking online, travelers can enjoy peace of mind on travel day – and save money.”
RDU will also institute new parking rates approved by the Airport Authority Board of Directors last month that range from $22/day for Premier to $7/day for Economy.
