ReachMe TV Adds Dedicated Sports Channel

ReachMe.TV, a multi-channel digital entertainment network that connects public screens in high-traffic venues such as airports, has added ReachMe Sports, a dedicated sports channel, to its lineup.

ReachMe Sports will offer a range of programming that endeavors to go where founders Lynnwood Bibbens and Ron Bloom call “beyond the game.” To make this possible, ReachMe.TV has signed multi-year agreements with production, programming and distribution partners, including AUDIENCE Network, Sports Illustrated and The Players’ Tribune.

These partnerships will allow ReachMe.TV to dig deeper into alternative sports that are often overlooked by major networks, bringing those sports to its more than 100 million reported viewers.

ReachMe.TV’s end-to-end content production and distribution platform allows the network to program screens in public places. ReachMe.TV’s deals with CBS Television Stations, infrastructure providers and partners in airports give ReachMe.TV access to screens in 100 U.S. and Canadian airports.

“Obviously, sports broadcasting is a big business and one that we see a great opportunity to disrupt,” says Bibbens. “We have solved the distribution dilemma with our platform, and we are already delivering custom programming to millions of viewers in multiple markets here and abroad. With these new partners and our innovative ‘beyond the game’ approach to packaging and programming, we believe our new channel will hit the sweet spot for fans who are looking for diversified sports content that goes beyond the field of play.”
