Redbox Automated Retail has signed contracts to install DVD kiosks in three airports.
The kiosks are expected to be installed at William P. Hobby (HOU), George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) and Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky (CVG) in the third quarter.
“We’re very excited about these new contracts, and we’re looking forward to the kiosks’ installations at these three airports,” says Dennis Gelb of Redbox Automated Retail.
Customers can rent DVDs from the kiosks for $1 a day using a credit or debit card, and return them to any Redbox location.
There will be two locations at HOU, up to six at IAH and up to five at CVG. Locations within the airports are still being finalized. The contracts for the Houston airports are for five years, and for CVG, one year.
