Industry veteran Charlene Reynolds has been named the interim aviation director for the City of Phoenix, operator of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) and two general services airports: Phoenix Deer Valley (DVT) and Phoenix Goodyear (GYR).
Reynolds has worked for the city of Phoenix for close to 20 years, including overseeing the aviation department’s first contracts and services division. Reynolds also led the new business planning team, which included the design and construction services, contracts and services and the business and properties divisions at the airports.
She was most recently the assistant aviation director for the city of Phoenix until being promoted to interim aviation director.
In her new role, Reynolds will oversee terminal concessions, advertising, parking management, rental car center operations, air cargo and the real estate portfolio for PHX, DVT and GYR.
