SLC Issues RFP For First Phase Of The New SLC Redevelopment Program

Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) has initiated a Request for Proposals to redevelop its concessions space for the airport’s The New SLC Redevelopment Program. The RFP for the first phase of proposals has been posted on Salt Lake City’s website. In this first phase of redevelopment, SLC is calling for retail and news and gift concepts.

The RFP for food and beverage concepts will be issued in May. An RFP for the second phase of concessions, which will include the east build-out of the concourses, will be issued after 2020.

For this RFP the airport is seeking a mix of local, regional and national brands in a balance of small and large package leases.

The first phase of The New SLC Redevelopment Program will include a central terminal, a parking garage and the redevelopment of the west end of two concourses. The first phase will be completed in 2020, and the second phase is scheduled to be finished in 2024.
