Classification: Full-Time Exempt
The Procurement Lease Administrator performs advanced professional work. Work requires an advanced level of knowledge, understanding and application of real estate, property administration, and procurement theories, laws, principles, and practices. This position has responsibility and accountability for administrating the solicitation and procurement processes that result in complex leases as a part of a comprehensive property management and concessions development program. The work requires judgment in resolving complex and often unexpected issues as they arise. Contacts require the ability to exercise judgement in seeking out and negotiating solutions, and implementing innovative applications, all with a focus on compliance, revenue growth and customer experience. Work is performed in an office environment and may require work in the field for meetings with prospective tenants and business partners. The work is performed in a fast-paced office environment where work assignments and priorities are subject to change. The position requires attention to detail and ability to work independently and in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadline pressures. Performs other duties as assigned and operates computers and other standard office equipment.
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, accounting, or closely related field or AS degree and 10+ years of relevant experience
- Two or more years working in an administrative or managerial position associated with commercial and/or private property management. Real estate lease background and/or landlord administrative background.
- DBE, ACDBE and or SBA
Preferred Education & Experience
- MBA or JD
- Retail Leasing/Property management experience
- Public Sector Experience
