The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) is launching the next phase of construction at Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO), furthering the ticketing hall expansion as well as improving the arrivals and departures curbside experience for travelers.
Both projects are part of the MoreRNO Infrastructure Program, the RTAA said, adding the Loop Road used for passenger pick-up and dropoff will be upgraded in the coming months, improving safety and security and ensuring full ADA compliance. After completing overhauling the Loop Road inner lane this year, the project will switch to the outer lane in 2024.
RNO officials also said the Ticketing Hall expansion will continue with significant changes in the Terminal Lobby in the coming months, including shifting the main entrance just a few steps from its current location.
