ROAM Fitness’ upscale airport gym and wellness concept has opened a location at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), enabling travelers to buy, rent or bring in their own exercise attire for an invigorating workout before, after or between flights. The PHL opening marks the second location for the brand – the concept first took off at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) in 2017.
Located in Terminal F, the PHL ROAM Fitness occupies 1500 square feet, allowing daily access for both airport employees and travelers. Access to the gym and all its amenities costs $25 per day, while an annual membership is available at $35 a month.
The PHL location also features free weights and other resistance machine as well as wellness technology leader Hyperice, which uses percussion, heat, contrast, vibration, and dynamic air compression to help relieve tension, unlock sore muscles, and prime your body to be at its best throughout your journey. There are four private, individual shower rooms that can booked in 15-minute increments, and there is also a single-person sauna. Travel and wellness accessories from RAINS, S’well and KINTO are for sale at the location.
