Ruby’s Diner, the burger joint featuring retro decor from the 1960s, has reopened at McCarran International (LAS).
The diner, which closed earlier this year for renovation, now features the same menu in a 1960s setting that includes space-inspired light fixtures, padded wire chairs, mod-style uniforms, and images of innovators and style icons on the walls.
The decor highlights icons of the 1960s, including John and Jackie Kennedy, Neil Armstrong, Marilyn Monroe, The Beatles and Johnny Cash on the walls with replica vintage concert posted and music that captures the era.
“The retro decor gives Ruby’s guests a new perspective on the past and an opportunity for a new conversation about what makes America great while enjoying the delicious food our guests have come to love from Ruby’s,” says Larry Sidoti, vice president of development of Ruby Restaurant Group.
HMSHost Corp. operates the concept, which originally opened at LAS in 1998. The restaurant seats more than 135 and has a full bar, and it is open from 4:15 a.m. to 11 p.m.
