San Diego International (SAN) is the latest airport to add lactation rooms for nursing mothers.
The airport has opened three rooms post-security: Two are in Terminal 1, the third in Terminal 2. All of them include a hand-washing station, electrical outlets, seating, artwork, a child’s seat and soft lighting.
The rooms were added to offer nursing mothers a quiet, private space to breastfeed while traveling through SAN.
