The city of San Antonio Aviation Department has re-branded itself.
It has a new logo, brand identity and four new websites, including a mobile website for San Antonio International (SAT). The authority aimed to create a look and brand that was unique to the airport system, and could be recognized as the aviation department, SAT and Stinson Municipal but still be known as part of the city.
The four websites include one for the aviation department, featuring various links and information about doing business with the airport and the city, and matches the brand and website recently rolled out by the city. Another website is specific to Stinson and includes a history of the airport and the businesses at the airfield. SAT’s new site now has features such as real-time GPS maps tracking flights; the ability to receive email or text message updates on the status of arriving and departing flights; information on the terminal facilities including food, shopping and other data; and links and feeds to the airport’s social media outlets. The fourth new site is a mobile website designed for use on small-screen formats such as smartphones and tablets and offers flight status, directions and parking and ground-transportation information.
