The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking proposals from firms to design, build, finance, operate and maintain a full service airport lounge serving airport passengers in a facility of up to approximately 18,263 square feet in Terminal 2 West at San Diego International Airport. The full service lounge shall provide for accommodation of airline preferred customers, respondent’s member clients (if applicable), and general public. Respondent shall directly negotiate with existing and potential new entrant airlines to allow their premium passengers to access the lounge and shall offer fee-based admittance for all other Airport passengers within all or a portion of the passenger lounge. A non-mandatory pre-submittal conference is scheduled for April 13, 2021. Proposals are due: May 7, 2021.
