San Francisco Aviation and Parking Management Director

San Francisco International Airport is offering an outstanding career opportunity to join this award winning and progressive organization as Aviation and Parking Management Director. Under direction of the Chief Commercial Officer, the Aviation & Parking Management Director is responsible for the management and oversight of a property portfolio consisting of approximately 150 tenants, including airlines, aviation support companies, and government agencies. This position will also manage a staff of approximately 15; participate in negotiations for a new lease and use agreement between the Airport and the airlines; and develop planning strategies to address various space allocation needs during the Airport’s Ascent Program and Airport Development Plan implementation.

Education: Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of managerial experience in a supervisory capacity, including 4 years of infrastructure management experience within a large organization. Possession of a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university may be substituted for up to 1 year of the required experience. Further details are outlined in the full brochure

Desirable qualifications include: experience in airline-airport lease and use agreement negotiation; strong negotiation and communication skills; collaborative leadership style; demonstrated high ethics, integrity, and professionalism in all aspects of business and financial dealings; ability to work with a variety of audiences and stakeholders; and a graduate degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or Law.

Compensation: The normal salary range for the Aviation and Parking Management Director is $155,948 to $199,030. Appointments above this range, up to $230,412 annually based on experience/qualifications, may be considered for a top candidate and requires a special approval process.
