HNTB Corp. has named Joseph Sawmiller to lead the company’s Florida aviation practice.
He will be responsible for the development and execution of HNTB’s aviation services for Florida clients. He will also be marketing and managing airside, landside and terminal-related services.
Prior to HNTB, Sawmiller was group manager with PBS&J, where he oversaw airport engineering activities, including business development, operations, and project management and engineering. He has more than 17 years of experience in airport civil and environmental engineering and project management in terms of airside and landside development.
He earned a B.S. degree in civil and environmental engineering from Clarkson University, and a master of business administration degree from the University of Florida.
