Uber will soon be among the ground transportation options at Louisville International (SDF).
On Dec. 10, Uber drivers will be able to pick up passengers at the airport. The transportation network company will have two vehicle spaces on the lower level of the commercial curb for pickup. There will also be a staging area in the cell phone waiting lot.
“We are pleased to welcome Uber as our newest ground transportation business partner here at Louisville International,” says Skip Miller, executive director of the Louisville Regional Airport Authority. “Uber is the latest transportation network company to offer a convenient option for airport travelers and guests.”
As part of its agreement with the airport, Uber will pay a fee of $2 for every pick-up at SDF. The TNC will also pay a $500 monthly business privilege fee. There isn’t a trip fee for dropping passengers off.
