SEA Unveils New Dining And Retail Concepts

Airport executives and concessionaires recently gathered to celebrate the opening of eight new dining and retail concepts at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), the last set of concessions to open as part of the airport’s N Concourse Modernization Project, which added 213,000 square feet and eight new gates to the airport’s facilities and remodeled the concourse’s existing 12 gates. The new concepts include a SEA location of national Asian cuisine brand P.F. Chang’s (operated by CI Grove Bay SEA, a joint venture between Concessions International and Grove Bay); an outpost of Seattle-based Lil Woody’s Burgers & Shakes (operated by HMSHost); full-service restaurant and bar Embarque Whiskey Grill (operated by Bambuza Hospitality Group); English-pub inspired eatery Village Pub (operated by Airport Concessions NW); local- and small-business-focused retailers CHALO Seattle (operated by Chalo LLC), Show Pony (operated by Shara, LLC dba Show Pony Boutique) and Tender Loving Empire (operated by Tender Loving Empire); as well as retro video gaming lounge, bar and cafe Sky Gamerz (operated by SSP America Sky Gamerz SEA, LLC, a joint venture between SSP America and Sky Gamerz). The N Concourse Modernization Project is part of the airport’s $5 billion Upgrade SEA capital improvement program, which aims to complete several major infractures projects ahead of Seattle’s World Cup 2026 hosting duties.

“It’s almost like the end of a really good book, but really it’s just the end of a chapter in our case … and we are all looking forward to SEA’s next chapter,” said Port of Seattle commissioner Sam Cho. “We’re seeing major progress throughout the terminal on projects that will benefit travelers for years to come, and much of that progress started right here with the N Concourse Modernization project.”

“Opening a location at any airport is a unique experience. So, when we reach a milestone like today, where all of the tenant spaces are officially filled and open for business, it’s worth celebrating!” said SEA managing director Lance Lyttle. “We want to thank our tenants and our Airport Dining and Retail Team for striving each and every day to achieve a high level of customer service, which ultimately moves us closer to our airport goal of becoming a 5-Star Skytrax rated airport.”

“Congratulations to the Port of Seattle on its transformation of N Concourse. We are very proud to be a part of such a significant project that will make the journey through SEA more exciting,” added HMSHost vice president of business development Tosin Kasali. “With the opening of Lil Woody’s, home to the best burger in the state of Washington, travelers will have the opportunity to experience a sense of place through a delicious taste of Seattle’s food scene.”
