A little bit of football has come to Seattle-Tacoma International (SEA).
The Seattle Seahawks 12 Club is a joint effort between HMSHost Corp. and the Seattle Seahawks. Located post-security in the North Terminal near Gate N9, the restaurant is designed to evoke the atmosphere of CenturyLink Field; it features an arched entranceway reminiscent of the arches at the stadium, an illuminated photographic timeline of the franchise, TV screens and an oversized bronze sculpture of retired Seahawks offensive tackle Walter Jones.
“We are proud to partner with the Seattle Seahawks to open the new
Seattle Seahawks 12 Club at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport,” says Renee
Tedesco, vice president of business development for HMSHost. “This
unique restaurant will allow football fans from around the world a chance to enjoy all that the Seahawks have to offer. We’re glad to offer travelers a taste and experience of the city’s enthusiasm for its home team.”
“We are delighted to welcome the Seattle Seahawks 12 Club to the airport,” says Mark Reis, managing director of SEA. “The Seahawks have a tremendous fan base in Seattle so the 12 Club is a great addition to the dining options already at the airport. The 12 Club really lets travelers know they’re in the Seahawks’ hometown.”
Menu options include fiesta nachos with cheese, tomatoes, black beans and bell pepper relish; Italian beef with roasted red peppers; and turkey and bacon on Ciabatta bread.
“We are excited to partner with HMSHost and the Port of Seattle on this
unique theme restaurant in the heart of Seattle-Tacoma International
Airport,” said Seahawks President Peter McLoughlin. “We hope Seahawks
fans and visitors to Seattle will come to experience just a glimpse of
the game-day atmosphere and help us pay tribute to one of the greatest
players in franchise history.”
