Pittsburgh International has opened a second location of the Martini cocktail lounge in the landside terminal.
The 2,600-square-foot bar and restaurant can seat up to 100 people. It serves a variety of small plates, soups, salads and starters, such as toasted pita and fresh-cut veggies, smoked chicken wings and short rib sliders. Sandwich options include grilled chicken on a pretzel bun, barbacoa burritos and chicken Caesar wraps. Assorted flatbreads are also available.
Signature cocktails on the drink menu feature names like The 412, Paris of Appalachia and Three Rivers Sangria, evoking the feel of Pittsburgh. Other cocktails on the menu are the Hemingway Daiquiri, Mint Julep and Moscow Mule.
“Airside, Martini has become popular among travelers for its tempting cocktails and creative fare in a setting that reintroduces style to the traveling experience,” says Bob Kerlik, vice president of media relations. “A new landside location means travelers can have dinner with their friends and family who are seeing them off or greeting them at the airport. It’s one of several new additions landside, including Starbucks in baggage claim.”
