San Francisco International Airport (SFO) said this week it has expanded its free onsite COVID-19 vaccination clinic to accept appointments with those aged 12-15, provided they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
The move follows approval by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for vaccinations of those aged 12-15.
SFO said it has also added an additional date, May 18, to accommodate more appointments. The vaccine clinic is open to airport workers and their families, Bay Area residents, and departing or arriving passengers, both domestic and international.
Those interested should go online to book an appointment, the airport said, adding the Pfizer vaccines is being administered through a partnership with Safeway.
