SFO Issues RFP for Terminal 3 Boarding Area News/Retail Concept

The San Francisco Airport Commission has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Terminal 3 Boarding Area F News and Multi-Concept Retail Store Lease at San Francisco International (SFO).

The single retail location is approximately 2,646 square feet and will incorporate a newsstand and no less than two separate retail branded concepts. The lease will run for seven year ears with two one-year options and the rent shall be the higher of the Minimum Annual Guarantee, which will be proposed by the proposer and not less than $650,000  or the following percentage rent: 12 percent of gross revenues achieved up to $1 million; plus 14 percent of gross revenues achieved from $1 million to $2 million, plus 16 percent of gross revenues achieved over $2 million.

The Airport Commission has scheduled an informational conference May 8 to discuss the desired concepts, and minimum qualification requirements and notes that small, local and disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to participate.
