SFO Releases Multiple RFPs In March

San Francisco International (SFO) has released various requests for proposals this month, including opportunities for food and beverage, retail, duty free, shoeshine and ATM locations.

Three food and beverage leases are now out for bid. The first is the International Terminal A Food Hall and Cafe Concession Lease. It’s a 10-year lease with two one-year options. The food hall will consist of three concepts, one being coffee, a second being Asian cuisine and the third being the proposer’s choice – as long as it’s not a burger or sandwich-centric concept. Additionally, the lease will include 700-square-foot cafe concept.

The second opportunity is the International Terminal A Historic Restaurant Concession Lease, which is also a 10-year lease with two one-year options. The least is for one casual sit-down restaurant, and the restaurant must be a historic San Francisco brand that has been in operation in the city for 30 years or more.

The third food and beverage lease is the International Terminal A Coffee Kiosk Concession Lease. The lease is for seven years, with two one-year options. It includes one 351-square-foot coffee kiosk.

On the retail side the airport has an RFP out for locations in the International Terminal Boarding Areas A and G. The lease is for three newsstand locations and two specialty retail leases. The term of the lease is seven years.

The duty free RFP is also for the International Terminal. The lease includes 10 duty free and luxury stores in the International Terminal and one location in Terminal 1. The proposed lease term is 14 years.

Another RFP is for four shoeshine locations throughout Terminals 1, 2 and 3. The lease is for five years, with one two-year option to extend.

Finally, an RFP is out for the installation, operation and maintenance of 12 ATM locations in Terminals 1, 2, 3 and the rental car center. The contract is for five years, with one two-year option to extend.
