Shane Andreasen rejoins the Salt Lake City Department of Aviation this week as director of administration and commercial services.
He had most recently been senior manager of concessions development at Portland International Airport (PDX) since late 2015, serving also for 15 months as acting director of the PDX Terminal Business and Properties department.
While in Portland, he was responsible for the development, operation and marketing of the award-winning terminal concessions program. He also led a recent multi-year negotiation for PDX’s 20-year rental car agreement and drove other innovative initiatives and products aimed at enhancing the customer experience.
Before he joined PDX in 2011, Andreasen had been at Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) in several roles with responsibility for properties, real estate, customer and tenant relations, risk and contracting. He has been in the industry for 16 years.
