The city of San José’s Aviation Department has named Faiyaz Ali as deputy director of planning and development for Mineta San José International Airport (SJC).
In his new role, Ali will develop, manage and deliver projects in the Capital Development Program at the Silicon Valley airport. Ali comes to SJC after serving as division manager for the City of San José, Department of Public Works.
“My goal is to drive an opportunity for greater innovation and to leverage technology toward improving work efficiency,” said Ali in a release announcing his new appointment. “I look forward to building relationships between colleagues and the different departments of the city.”
