SkyTeam has opened its branded lounge at Vancouver International (YVR), its first lounge in the Americas and seventh location worldwide.
At 5,600 square, the lounge has two separate wings with floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views of the runway and mountains. It’s located in the International Terminal, near Gate 53, and is operated by Global Lounge Network on behalf of SkyTeam.
“Vancouver is a key SkyTeam gateway between the rest of Canada, the United States, Asia and Europe,” says Perry Cantarutti, CEO of SkyTeam. “A shared lounge enables our members to offer an elevated airport experience to their top customers while strengthening our brand in the market.”
The amenities the lounge offers includes a buffet of hot and cold meals created with fresh local produce; a made-to-order noodle bar; a variety of beverages, including local beers and wines; seating for 126 people; and showers.
