SLC Announces Phase 4 Concessions

Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) announced the final 12 restaurants and retail shops selected for The New SLC-Phase 4, with planned opening dates of fall 2025 and 2026. These are the final concessions selected as part of The New SLC Redevelopment Program.

The New SLC Phase 4 encompasses a 16-gate extension of Concourse B to the east. The first five gates will open in fall 2025, followed by 11 additional gates in the fall of 2026.

Hudson by Avolta, At SLC Concessions JV, OHM Concession Group, Paradies Lagardère, SSP America and Tugals will operate the 20,723 square feet of new commercial space. Seven of the 12 locations will be devoted to food and beverage, with the remaining five devoted to retail

The Aubergine Kitchen, operated by At SLC Concessions JV, will open in 2025. The local concept was founded in 2014 by a husband-and-wife duo from Brazil and focuses on healthy, minimally processed foods that cater to different dietary preferences.

Also in 2025, Paradies Lagardère will open Moab Brewery, a Moab, Utah-based, family friendly, food-focused brewery.

OHM Concession Group will operate three restaurants with openings slated for 2026: Mr. Charlie’s Chicken Fingers, a local concept; Moochie’s, a brand known for Philly cheesesteaks and meatball sandwiches that was featured on Food Network’s Diners, Drive-ins and Dives; and Swig, a Utah-based soda shop.

Also in 2026, SSP American will open local brand Monarca, a full-service Mexican restaurant that emphasizes made-from-scratch dishes using fresh ingredients; and an Einstein Bros. Bagels location.

On the retail side, Hudson by Avolta will operate three stores, all set to open in 2025. They include Utah National Parks, a store created in partnership with the National Parks Foundation selling Utah National Park themed apparel and accessories;  Art of Aesthetics, a concept created in partnership with local Dr. Mark Taylor featuring medical-grade skin and hair care products; and a Hudson travel convenience store.

Tugals plans to open Good Earth Markets, a local small grocery store in 2025. Finally, OHM Concession Group will branch into retail by opening &Go, a convenience store powered by Amazon Just Walk Out technology.

Art of Aesthetics, Aubergine Kitchen, Good Earth Markets, Moab Brewery, Monarca, Moochie’s Meatballs and More, Mr. Charlie’s Chicken Fingers and Swig are all local brands.

“The new airport is continually recognized as having one of the best concession programs in the country, which we have worked hard to achieve,” said Bill Wyatt, executive director, Salt Lake City Department of Airports. “Keeping with the theme of The New SLC, many of the brands and concepts selected are Utah-based to highlight the unique flavor of the state.”
