A new study by Upgraded Points found that Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) has the shortest security lines on average among the top 25 U.S. airports.

Upgraded Points, a travel company that provides insider strategies on maximizing travel points and rewards, analyzed data from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and found SLC had the shortest security times at 9.1 minutes.

Washington-Dulles International Airport (IAD) was second, followed by Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP). Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) and Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) tied for fifth.

Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and Miami International Airport (MIA) were the airports with the longest security times for passengers, the Upgraded Points study found.
