HMSHost Corp. has partnered with S&C Robinson Enterprise and Southbound Brewing Company to open Southbound Taphouse at Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV). Southbound Taphouse, located pre-security, serves brews from Savannah’s first production microbrewery.
Southbound Brewing Company launched in Savannah in 2013. Since 2015, HMSHost has served its craft beers in its SAV restaurants.
At SAV’s Southbound Taphouse, diners can enjoy on-trend American cuisine with offerings like waffle fries, chili con carne, a black & bleu stack burger and an ancho grilled chicken breast entrée along with signature Southbound brews. Diners can easily pair a brew with their meal using Southbound Taphouse’s color-coded hops menu.
“HMSHost and the Savannah Airport Commission had a goal to open a new, exciting, local option in Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport, and Southbound Taphouse does exactly that,” says Kent Vanden Oever, vice president of business development at HMSHost. “Along with S&C Robinson Enterprise, HMSHost is very proud to welcome guests into this special restaurant. The Southbound Brewing Company brand represents Savannah’s thriving social culture, and we thank the Commission for the opportunity to give travelers this unique experience.”
