A new partnership between Washington Dulles International (IAD) and SpringHill Suites by Marriott aims to offer some comfort to travelers.
The brand’s Comfort Zones can now be found in three areas at the airport. The Comfort Zones include couches and tables for travelers to use.
“Extending the hospitality of SpringHill Suites by providing more than the expected is a priority for us,” says Loren Nalewanski, vice president and global brand manager for SpringHill Suites by Marriott. “Business travel can be tough, and our goal is to help travelers start the trip with a unique and stress-free experience as they pass through one of the country’s busiest airports.”
All of the Comfort Zones are located near security checkpoints, the goal being to offer increased comfort while simultaneously maintaining maximum security. IAD is the fifth airport at which Springhill Suites by Marriott has installed the zones in partnership with JCDecaux and Aviator.
“The partnership between Washington Dulles International Airport, marketing and advertising firm JCDecaux and Marriott to bring a SpringHill Suites’ Comfort Zone to the airport will create a wonderful opportunity for passengers and continue the tradition of providing world-class service and comfort to our customers,” says Jerome L. Davis, executive vice president and chief revenue officer at the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. “We have already seen positive passenger feedback in the few days that the Comfort Zones have been opened.”
