We are currently searching for a Business Development leader who through own initiative will generate ideas and proposals for new business that capitalize on existing and prospective strengths to drive substantive, additional benefit to the company. The incumbent will develop strong relationships with key local airport staff and community elected officials, with the purpose of marketing our company as a potential participant in new business developments at airports. Formulate strategy for market presentation, identify all RFP opportunities within the next 24 months and build strategy to win contracts.

The individual will be responsible for identifying, prioritizing and pursuing new and existing business opportunities in line with the company’s vision and expected ROI while providing a unique experience for our customers, development of new contracts and business opportunities for the organization with minimum annual revenue growth at $10 million to $15 million.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong strategic/conceptual background with good analytical and organizational skills to complete various types of RFPs.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in airport or travel retail industry Business Development.
  • A wealth of relationships with all major US domestic airports and the competitive market place.
  • Demonstrated strength in project management, analysis and strategic planning.
  • Prior experience formulating, monitoring and adjusting a complex budget.
  • Strong leadership skills,
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Creative problem solving aptitude.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management (preferred) or equivalent degree / experience.
