SSP America To Bring New Local Brands To COS

Passengers traveling through Colorado Springs (COS) will soon be treated to the region’s flavors, courtesy of SSP America, with the opening of a new coffee shop and a full-service brewpub.

Novo Coffee is a family-owned and operated roasting company that sources and roasts coffees purchased through relationships with farmers who share in the Denver, Colo.-based company’s commitment to social, environmental and economic sustainability.

Bristol Brewing Company brews standard, seasonal and specialty beers such as the award-winning Laughing Lab Scottish Ale, local favorites Compass IPA and Beehive Honey Wheat and more. The company was founded in Colorado Springs in 1994 by Mike and Amanda Bristol.

“We are proud to be partnering with these iconic, family-owned Colorado brands,” comments Tom Waldron, senior director of business development for SSP America.  “They exemplify community involvement and we are excited to showcase them to passengers at the Colorado Springs Airport.”

“Over the past several years, we have worked to create an atmosphere in our terminal building that is inviting and more representative of Colorado and the Pikes Peak region,” says Mark Earle, director of aviation for COS. “Through our partnership with SSP America, we are bringing recognized regional brands that will give our customers a greater sense of what we are all about.”

The concepts are slated to open later this year.
