SSP America has named Paul Heflin vice president of design and construction for North America.
Heflin will be responsible for the design and construction for all proprietary, national and local restaurants, ensuring consistent brand standards across the company’s regional operations. He will provide oversight of the design and construction budgets, procurement services and management of U.S. and Canadian project teams. He’ll also lead capital projects and planning related to new business development.
Heflin has spent the past 30 years as a licensed, award-winning architect for architectural and engineering firms including Leo A Daly, EwingCole and The Hillier Group. He was most recently senior vice president and managing principal at HDR Architecture Inc., where he managed operations for one of the largest architecture and engineering firms in the Washington, D.C., area.
