SSP Brings On Barry As VP Of Strategic Partnerships

SSP America has hired Heather Barry as vice president of strategic partnerships.

In the role, Barry will oversee SSP America’s development and strategic airport business diversity plans and program efforts in SSP’s North American operations. The goal is to develop operational and performance initiatives that enhance and advance the company’s efforts within the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise and Airport Concessions Disadvantage Business Enterprise programs.

Barry previously served as director of business affairs at Denver International (DEN). While there, she established and led the Commerce Hub, a part of the DEN executive office that works to promote a transparent and competitive business environment. She also worked as director of government affairs and external relations for DEN, as well as served in senior legislative positions for two Denver mayors, Guillermo Vidal and John Hickenlooper.
