SSP Canada has opened three new restaurants at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ) to provide travelers with a range of high quality, locally-inspired food and beverages.
The new restaurants—OBISPO, Balzac’s Coffee Roasters and [email protected] – are located in the newly-designed airport lounges developed by Nieuport Aviation Infrastructure Partners.
Each concept features menus that showcase local dishes and drinks to provide the airport’s nearly three million annual passengers a true taste of Toronto. OBISPO features hot sandwiches, flatbreads, and an array of antipasto dishes and salads created by Toronto Chef Grant van Gameren. [email protected] offers breakfast, lunch and dinner items ranging from steel cut oatmeal to BBQ wings, pot stickers, and Montreal beef sandwiches.
Balzac’s Coffee Roasters is an extension of the chain that already has 13 locations in the Toronto area and features hot and cold beverages as well as locally baked breads, pastries, salads and other dishes for the busy traveler.
“We are honored to partner with the YTZ team to build a fresh, new portfolio of brands tailored to the YTZ passenger,” says Pat Murray, executive vice president of SSP Canada. “We look forward to helping YTZ passengers explore the new offerings and to being part of the YTZ community.”
