SSP Debuts Urban Crave At George Bush Intercontinental

Urban Crave has given travelers at George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) something new to, well, crave.

The airport’s newest dining option, part of the SSP America family, offers authentic street cuisine such as “haute dogs,” 10-inch corn dogs wrapped in bacon and deep fried, and Angus burgers with its toppings layered inside the beef. Healthy choices are also on the menu, such as ceviche, organic yogurt, salads and lettuce wraps. Guests are directed inward around a central bar and can watch their food being prepared.

“We are pleased to partner with Houston Airport System to debut Urban Crave to the traveling public,” says Pat Murray, executive vice president of SSP America. “Urban Crave’s hip, edgy vibe allows travelers to let go of the stress and dig into delicious, fresh, street-inspired dishes.”

Randy Goodman, concessions manager for the Houston Airport System, says the “concept is the first of its kind in any airport in the world.”

“We’re pleased to continue offering new and innovative restaurants at Bush Airport,” he says.

The restaurant can be found in Terminal C South near Gate C-32.
