Indianapolis International Airport (IND) and SSP America celebrated the opening of an expanded location of well-known local restaurant Harry & Izzy’s as part of the airport concessions upgrade program.
The new Harry & Izzy’s offers approximately 40 percent more seating with an expanded bar. The menu includes more appetizers and enhanced breakfast options.
“Harry & Izzy’s is a quintessential Indianapolis restaurant representing the ultimate classic American grill which exudes class and sophistication in an approachable, comfortable setting,” said Bob Stanton, SSP America’s vice president of business development. “Our thanks to Craig Huse and the team at Huse Culinary for their partnership—it’s an honor to represent this iconic brand.”
The Indianapolis Airport Authority, operators of IND, have embarked on a concessions refresh over the past year with new openings such The Farmers’ Market featuring Indiana Grown, Shake Shack, the Pacers Courtside Club, Bub’s Burgers & Ice Cream, Bento Sushi, Tinker Coffee Café and Ben’s Soft Pretzels. In addition, Circle City Beer Garden and The Tap are also set to open by early next year.
