SSP has partnered with chef Gordon Ramsay to create Gordon Ramsay Plane Food To Go, a premium grab-and-go concept to follow the success of Ramsay’s popular Plane Food, located in London Heathrow Terminal 5. Like Plane Food, Gordon Ramsay Plane Food To Go will offer innovative choices in the travel grab and go category, SSP said. Ramsay has “lots of ideas about creating high quality, healthy food to take on the plane in easy to eat formats,” said Mark Angela, chief commercial officer for SSP, “and together we’re going to take that to the next level.”
Ramsay and his team will work closely with SSP to make sure his iconic dishes and international renown are part of the experience for every Gordon Ramsay Plane Food To Go customer. “Our customers will have a unique opportunity to experience stand-out dishes, all given the Gordon Ramsay Plane Food To Go twist,” said Angela. Travelers will have what Angela calls a “once in a lifetime” opportunity to taste dishes pioneered by the famed chef.
