European food & beverage operator SSP has been named ‘Best Service Provider’ at Manchester Airport (MAN) by the UK’s Airport Operators Association (AOA) for its restaurant concept the real food company. The award recognizes UK airport suppliers from airlines to fuel companies to retailers to food & beverage operators.
“It was an honor to collect the award on behalf of the SSP UK team. It is a true testament to our operational excellence and the combination of the operations and marketing teams’ efforts,” notes Ian McKay, commercial director of SSP’s UK airports division.
Launched in October on the heels of success at Dublin Airport (DUB), Newcastle Airport (NCL) and London Luton Airport (LTN), the real food company focuses on the freshness and quality of regional recipes.
