Master ConcessionAir (MCA) has signed a licensing agreement with Starbucks Coffee Company to expand the global coffee brand’s presence in airports nationwide.
Founded in 1998, MCA is a minority-owned hospitality company that now operates more than 275 units in 23 airports across the US, and the Starbucks licensing agreement should fuel even more expansion.
“We’re extremely thrilled and excited with the opportunity to work with Starbucks,” said Peter Amaro, MCA CEO and co-founder. “There’s no doubt this is a historical moment for MCA in the addition of Starbucks to our brand portfolio. This aligns perfectly with our growth strategies for the North America. Starbucks is also known for serving a welcoming atmosphere to relax and recharge between flights, while ensuring guests have access to their preferred cup of coffee while traveling.”
