Sue Stiene, director of commercial services at Vancouver International (YVR), will retire on April 13, 2017.
“Sue has played a prominent and diverse role in the success of the airport,” Scott Norris, vice president of commercial development, said in an email to the industry. He mentioned Stiene’s role in managing YVR’s operations center, leading a facilitation team that innovated our passenger processes, sponsoring the #1 Committee that focused on enhancing the customer experience, and developing YVR’s retail and ground transport strategy.
While the airport searches for Stiene’s replacement, Norris will assume her current responsibilities in day-to-day operations.
