Stroller, Car Seat Rentals Roll Into DEN

Those traveling with children are now able to rent strollers, car seats and other essentials at Denver International (DEN), now that Vea Kids has arrived.

“With the start of the busy holiday season, we are expecting many families to pass through the airport who can benefit from convenient access to strollers, car seats and other equipment that can sometimes be difficult to travel with,” says Neil Maxfield, DEN’s senior vice president of concessions. “We are excited to welcome Vea Kids, which will provide these services and more for families on the go.”

The company is part of the airport’s cart and kiosk program and offers a variety of items in addition to car seats and strollers. Diapers, pacifiers, bottles, organic snacks and wipes are for sale, and “pack and play” sets, kid-carrier backpacks and kid tents are available to rent.

“Our families are passionate about traveling, and we’re passionate about sharing that love with our children,” says Ruble Henderson, co-founder of Vea Kids. “But we recognize there are significant challenges when traveling with children, and Vea Kids will help ease one of the major burdens of traveling with kids – transporting large strollers and other equipment onto aircraft and through the airport.”

Vea Kids is located in the Jeppesen Terminal in the center of the Great Hall on Level 5, and equipment is available for free pick-up and drop-off in the baggage-claim area. It is open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Friday and from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays, and travelers can secure rentals online at www.veakids.com.
