A new survey by IPX 1031 found that 48 percent of Americans are optimistic about traveling in 2021, with the same percentage saying they will feel safe flying this year.
The survey of more than 2,000 American also found that 72 percent said they will feel safer flying after they’ve been vaccinated, with 54 percent saying they feel it is not safe to travel until they’re vaccinated.
By 2022, 80 percent will feel safe flying, though 55 percent said they are uncertain if travel will ever return to normal without restrictions, the survey found.
IPX 1031, which specialize in tax-deferred property exchanges, also found that safety, budget and dining and entertainment restriction were the top reason why reasons for not traveling this year.
