Tastes on the Fly has named Edie Ames as president, a new position in the company. The 30-plus year restaurant veteran was hired to aid the company’s focus on leadership, operations and training and development.

Most recently, Ames served as CEO of The Pie Hole, a Los Angeles-based fast casual pie shop. She has held previous leadership roles at The Counter and BUILT Custom Burgers, Wolfgang Puck Catering, Real Mex Restaurants, Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group, Morton’s Restaurant Group and others. Ames is a certified sommelier.

Tastes on the Fly operates 20 brands in 25 locations in four U.S. airports in the United States. In 2020, it will open its first international location in Vancouver.
