The Logan Airport Association has awarded its 2016 Louise Eldridge Person of the Year Award to Tastes on the Fly.
The award, named after a former employee of the Hilton Boston Logan and volunteer for the Logan Airport Association, recognizes individuals and companies for “going the extra step” for the Boston Logan International (BOS) community.
The Logan Airport Association is a nonprofit that provides assistance and support to the airport community by providing relief to association members going through tough times and offering college scholarships to the kids of association members.
The award was presented at the organization’s annual $5,000 fundraising dinner at the Boston Logan Hilton. Tastes on the Fly donated a dinner for 10 with Julival Rocha, executive chef of Tastes on the Fly Boston, for the evening’s auction. It also donated the dessert station at the dinner.
“We are honored to receive the 2016 Louise Eldridge Award,” said Michael Levine, CEO Tastes on the Fly. “It recognizes those companies and individuals who have the strongest and most valued partnerships with the Logan Airport community.”
