TAV Wins Passenger Lounge Contract at IAD
The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) has awarded TAV America Operation Services a 10-year contract for a Capital One-branded passenger lounge at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD).
TAV America will partner with Capital One, the financial services company based in nearby McLean, VA, to renovate approximately 9,100 square feet of space within the main terminal just beyond security. Set to open next year, it will be the first airport lounge with the Capital One brand.
“We look forward to working with both TAV Operations Services and Capital One in offering this exciting new passenger-focused amenity at the national capital region’s leading international airport,” says Jerome Davis, MWAA executive vice president and chief revenue officer.
TAV Operation Services, parent company of TAV America Operation Services, currently manages more than 80 passenger lounges in 41 airports across the globe, serving 8 million passengers annually at locations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas, including the Turkish Airlines-Star Alliance Lounge at IAD.
