Tech Interaction is helping to keep travelers connected at the Airmall at Pittsburgh International (PIT).
The 888-square-foot store offers smartphones, tablets and accessories, and it is an exclusive partnership with Verizon by GoWireless. Passengers are able to activate and upgrade their Verizon Wireless service while at the airport.
“Quality, selection and service are hallmarks of the shopping experience at the Airmall,” says Jay Kruisselbrink, vice president of development for Airmall USA. “Travelers can maximize their time by improving their mobile experience on the spot. What better way to spend your wait time than trying out the latest devices – headphones to tablets, and being able to upgrade your service or plug in!”
Tech Interaction can be found in the airport’s Center Core, near Concourse D. The PIT store is the first location to introduce the expanded service.
“This is an exciting time for our company and our customers,” says Iris Goldschmidt, president and CEO of parent company APW Holdings LLC. “It’s what they’ve been asking for, and we’re delighted to now be able to offer a streamlined activation process that takes on average under 15 minutes. Tech and travel go hand in hand, and Tech Interaction is making the connection seamless for Airmall customers.”
