TPA Launches Program to Let Non-Passengers Shop and Dine

Tampa International Airport (TPA) announced a new program beginning this month that lets non-passengers shop and dine post-security at the airport.

TPA All Access passes are available every Saturday from 8 am to 8 pm and limited to 25 people per airside and one airside per visit. Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and all those participating in TPA All Access are subject to the same security screening regulations as passengers boarding a plane.

Sign-ups for the program must be done at least 24 hours in advance by going to the dedicated TPA website page and passes are picked up on Level 3 of the Main Terminal on the day of the visit.  Airport officials says 100 non-flying guests will be allowed to explore the airport concessions and other amenities every Saturday beginning May 4.

“To those feeling left out because you can’t get to all these great restaurants and shops we’ve been touting: We heard you,” says TPA CEO Joe Lopano. “Now families, foodies or even couples looking for a unique date experience can come try our chargrilled oysters at Ulele, sample locally brewed beer at Cigar City and shop for unique gifts and items at our duty-free and fine retail stores without having to buy a ticket.”
