Travelex has opened currency exchange shops at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County (DTW) and Boston Logan International (BOS).
The new outlets give Travelex a presence in more than 70 percent of airports across the U.S.
“North America is a key market for Travelex,” says Esther Galan, head of business development in North America. “It’s a popular destination for tourists and business travelers but there’s also a real need for foreign exchange in airports for outbound Americans, as many local cards do not have the chip and pin technology required for transacting abroad.”
