Tulsa Airports Improvement Trust said it will take its nearly a dozen major projects currently underway at Tulsa International Airport (TUL) and place them under the “Propel TUL” branding initiative.
Propel TUL’s mission statement is to “Propel Tulsa International Airport into a future defined by innovation, growth, and unparalleled excellence.”
Propel TUL projects include the Home2Suites by Hilton Hotel at the airport that opened in December 2023, a new International Customs Facility set to open in 2025, a Discovery Lab Play Area set to open this spring, new wayfinding directional signage, an Escape Lounge set to open this year, a new air traffic control tower vestibule upgrade, and an onsite convenience store/gas station.
“Our commitment to this community is to foster an airport experience that goes beyond expectations,” said Alexis Higgins, TUL CEO. “We know many of our passengers and partners are excited about these improvements, and through the Propel TUL website, everyone will have access to the latest information to stay up to date on these transformative projects.”
